Regulating the IDF Status of Children of Israeli Emigrants

For Israeli families living in the United States, arranging “child of emigrants” status is the way to ensure that their children can visit Israel with peace of mind.

Who is eligible?
Those who left Israel before the age of 16, live abroad with their parents, and have not used their “right of return.”

The requirement:
From the age of 17, you must contact the Israeli consulate to arrange this status.

The benefit:
The ability to visit Israel for up to 120 days per year without being considered as having returned to live in Israel.
